BIOGRAPHY

Cristiana Esteves Araújo graduated in 2014 in Medical Informatics from IPCA (Instituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave), and in 2016 she completed her master's degree in Computer Engineering with the thesis "Building the Museum of the Person based on a CIDOC-CRM/FOAF/DBpedia Ontology" at the Universidade do Minho.
Cristiana Araújo, since 2017, is an Assistant Lecture and Researcher in the Department of Informatics at the Universidade do Minho. She is co-supervisor of M.Sc. theses and undergraduate projects in the areas of: Computational Thinking, Teaching/Learning Computer Programming, Game-Based Learning, Adult Learning, Ontologies, Virtual Museums, Knowledge/Information Representation and Processing, Document Annotation and Program Generation. She has published 4 chapters in books, 3 articles in journals and 11 articles in international conferences.
Cristiana in 2017, participated in the international research project "Norma-Simplex: an infrastructure for legal documents analysis, assessment, and re-factoring", at UNU-EGOV (University of the United Nations - Guimarães), through a research grant (3 months). Since 2019, she has been a research fellow in the international research project "NetLang: The Language of Cyberbullying: Forms and Mechanisms of Online Prejudice and Discrimination in Annotated Comparable Corpora of Portuguese and English", supported by FCT, at the Universidade do Minho.
Cristiana Araújo in 2021, started her PhD in Informatics with the Project "Training Computational Thinking: exploring approaches supported by Neuroscience", supported by an FCT PhD grant.
